Looking back on my life - all the hours I spent locked away in my childhood bedroom dreaming and creating what I now would call "cringy" videos for my YouTube channel... I can't thank God enough that it led me to this moment. It's hard to comprehend.

I met my husband, Rob, just days before shooting my very first wedding. Funny how things work out. I fell in love with him as I fell in love with documenting in-love people. That was almost 9 years ago. It's not a shock we married each other after witnessing so many beautiful covenants made. What a blessing it was to make our own marriage covenant 6 years ago. 

This job has been one of God's greatest blessings to me. It's been a consistent reminder of His goodness. Marriage is His greatest gift to us as it symbolizes Christ & the church. All I want for this art that I create is for it to be our couples' consistent reminder of that truth. On the good days - they can be overjoyed in reliving the story and memories that brought them to the present joy. On the bad days - they can be reminded of the commitment they made and be encouraged that good days are coming again.

What I want you to know is that your story and your memories are important. They outlast every other part of your wedding day. My promise to you is that I will cherish the opportunity to save those moments for your legacy. I will pour myself into the privilege I have to connect with you, to spend time getting to know you, and to document the most important day of your relationship with each other.

The generations to come will know your story and will be connected to you - even if they never got to meet you. They will be impacted and encouraged and will see the gift that marriage is to us all. What a beautiful thing.
